Congratulations to the participants and lecturers on completion of the «Tolocar: Open Source Immersion Days» program

The program has endedwith the practical module, during which students have examined open design onthe Ostriv (Idland) platform and have tried creating material things usinginnovative technologies

The «Tolocar: Open Source Immersion Days» short-term program is over. The course participants have listened to three online lectures and have been involved in the “Create Your Own Products” with Tolocar practical module.

Duringtheir studies, the students have acquired skills and knowledge required forimplementation of quick and efficient digital decisions at the communities andhave learned about:

  • distributed production and its opportunities for digitalization;
  • creation of mobile workshops that will help satisfy the essential needsof the population and rebuild Ukrainian cities under the conditions of limitedproduction;
  • digital innovations and using the Digital Product Passport in the FabCity OS;
  • creating items using 3D design.

Thelecturers of the program included:

  • Kostiantyn Leonenko, the leader of the Tolocar digital workshop team;
  • Viktoriia Ventselmann, the manager of the Tolocar innovative ecosystem;
  • Dr.-Ing. Tobias Redlich, Academic Director at the New ProductionInstitute at Helmut Schmidt University in Germany;
  • Dr.-Ing. Manuel Moritz, Senior Researcher at the New ProductionInstitute at Helmut Schmidt University in Germany.
